The vast majority of moms (95%) use at least one type of media with their children once a week, according to AOL's Platform-A and communications agency OMD. TV is the most common medium moms share with their children (79%), followed by the Internet (62%), mobile phone (58%), digital camera (48%), e-mail (38%) and games (33%).

Some 64 million American mobile subscribers (28%) now have a 3G-enabled device, comScore reports.

U.S. wireless subscribers sent some 5.6 billion pictures and other multimedia messages in the first half of 2008 - almost as many as were sent in all of 2007, says The Wireless Association.

95% of adults age 18-49 with a college degree and an annual household income of $50,000 or above tune into radio over the course of a week, says Arbitron.

On average, U.S. consumers use 80% of their movie/video budgets on DVDs, according to NPD Group. Just 0.5% is spent renting or purchasing TV shows or movies digitally from the Web.
